Real-time automatic backup:

• Should a WAN link breaks down, the XR-4106 detects this situation in real time, then sends an email notification to the MIS and redirects subsequent traffic to the remaining healthy WAN link.

• Should a broken link comes back online, the XR-4106 detects its presence and routes traffic back to it.

• Everything is automatic; neither human involvement nor ISP reconfiguration is required.

• The auto-switch time is in the range of 1~99 sec.

Load Balances Traffic Over 2 WAN Connections:

• Quality of Service (QoS) has become a basic requirement for many enterprises. A company cannot afford a poor Internet quality due to bandwidth misuse. 

• XR-4106 allows users to set up bandwidth policies based on their network configuration and company's policies. 

• XR-4106 can make sure that bandwidth need of anticipated traffic is met, and bandwidth consumption of unexpected traffic is monitored and controlled.

• Bandwidth policies of the XR-4106 can be specified based on RoundRobin, Weight Percentage, and Auto modes.
