Access Point [XA-2622g] Bridge to Access Point Steps:

Create a static IP for
your PC which is going to connect to the XA-2622G
EX.
IP address: 192.168.1.100
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Default gateway: 192.168.1.241

Use the Utility program
which included in the CD, go into the Utility folder

Double click on the
“setdefault”

Click on “Find”
-
Double click on
“192.168.1.241”, the Internet Explorer Browser will pop-up,
and a window will ask you for User Name and Password, just hit
“Enter” key or click on OK, the default setting is no user
name and password.

Please choose “Admin”,
and go down to Upgrade system firmware, then click on “Browse"

Please go to the
Utility folder of the CD, and select “AP+WPA”, and then click
“Open”.

Then Click “Upload”,
when the upgrade is done, you will see this message

After waiting for 1
minute, you should see the status light stop flashing, then on
the Address bar of Browser, type in “192.168.1.240”, hit
enter.

You will get a message
asking for User name and Password again, and by default there
is none, so just click OK, then you should see your Device
interface says “Access Point”
PS. The steps for
switching back to Bridge mode would be similar, you just follow
steps 1-4 and instead of 198.168.1.241, you will see or use
192.168.1.240. And on Step 7 select “Bridge” instead of “AP+WPA”.
